RPL14 contains a bZIP-like domain. Current research surrounding RPL14 has shown possible connections with diseases and disorders such as oral cancer, anemia, Treacher Collins syndrome, squamous cell carcinoma, malaria, pancreatitis, and Congenital myasthenic syndrome.
