Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP-1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that hydrolyzes nucleotides and nucleotide derivatives with the formation of nucleotide-5'-monophosphates. It is inserted into the plasma membrane by an N-terminal transmembrane domain.
