Choline Acetyltransferase/ChAT: ELISA Kits

ChAT catalyzes the synthesis of acetylcholine (ACh) in cholinergic neurons. Two major forms with molecular weights of 69 kDa and 82 kDa are present in humans. Cholinergic neurons in the brain are involved in several neurological diseases, including Alzheimers disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
